December !- Christmas Party

December 8-  Rev. Susan Smith, Assistant Executive Director of Exodus Homes spoke about the program and its history.  Started in 1998 by  Rev. Reggie Longcrier with five beds in one  location, the faith-based supportive housing now has 90 beds in several locations.  Residents are recovering alcoholics or drug addicts or people just released from prison.  David, a resident and recovering alcoholic, told of how the work at Exodus had given him a new life. As an Eagle Scout, business leader owning several outfitting stores and named Retailer of the Year by Outdoor Living magazine, and as director of the Carolina Raptor Center, Mr. Barnhardt brings a variety of experience to his new job.
